What I learned form PhET "Build an atom simulation"
I learned that protons affect the element symbol, the net charge, and the mass of the atom. Neutrons affect the mass of the atom. Electrons affect the net charge of the atom. Protons affect the most properties of an atom.

Music
音楽が好きです。音楽を聞きます。
I like music. You can listen to it.
I really like this keyboard. It's so nice and responsive. I will buy a keyboard like this. I can't wait for September 20,21,22,23, October 2, December 24, 25, and May 29. I like listening to music and I love carrots! Carrot day should be every day. Carrots are amazing. I love carrots. Carrots are the best. Carrots are life. #DiMaio4lyfo. Carrots are so cool. Carrots. Carrots. Fruits is kudamono in japanese. Omg japanese is awesome. Omg history is awesome. Omg chem. is awesome. Welcome to my blog.

Rutherford's Gold Foil Experiment
From yesterday's experiment, I learned that gold is very malleable and can be pounded down to be a very thin foil. after Rutherford made the foil, he placed a radioactive material in a lead block. Since radioactive materials spew out molecules in many different directions, the lead block confined the molecules to come out of on hole of the lead block. The molecules shot out of the lead block and straight toward the gold foil. However, Rutherford found out that when the molecules hit the gold foil, most of them went straight through and others bounced off the foil in large angles.
The experiment shows the a small change in the number of protons, neutrons, and electrons an atom has can change the properties of the atom completely.
