My Favorite Class (other than Chemistry)

My favorite class other than chemistry is English because I like to work on my writing and improve it, expecially since writing is integral in common core.

Course Information Day

The first session I went to today was AP U.S. History. It was cool to come back to a teacher that I have had before and it made me reminisce of freshman year. History is not my best subject but I enjoy it. I think that taking this class would prepare me to take the AP Exam in May. Also lees cost for college blah blah ya.

The second session I went to was AP Biology. It was cool to see what AP bio is like, which includes a lot of work and passion for science. I will probably no take this class next year as I don't think I'm ready for the challenges and rigor of AP Bio.

The last session I went to was AP Calculus BC. I really don't know why I went here because I am currently in Algebra 3-4 and I am not yet prepared for Calculus. I learned a lot, especially about how hard math is. There are so many things to know, including graphing polynomials, limits, and the Unit Circle. I will not be taking this class because it is too hard and goes a at very fast pace.

My Favorite Solution

My Favorite Solution is... LEMONADE!

When was the last time you were super thirsty? Chances are, you grabbed a bottle of water. Do you remember that boring drink? Was it memorable or eventful? I bet it wasn't! That's why instead you should take a sip of my favorite solution, lemonade! Lemonade is so refreshing, you'll be addicted and keep on wanting more! So the next time you need to replenish your thirsty self, take a sip of good ole' Lemonade!

BEYONCÉ at the 2015 Grammys!

Beyoncé is nominated for six grammys this year (2015). Her self titled fifth album, "Beyoncé," is nominated in three categories, Album of the Year, Best Urban Contemporary Album, and Best Surround Sound Album. The album's lead single, "Drunk in Love," is also nominated in two categories, Best R&B Performance and Best R&B song. Surprisingly, "Drunk in Love" snubbed out of the major Record of the Year and Song of the Year categories, despite critical acclaim. Lastly, a collaboration with husband Jay-Z over the summer, the "On the Run Tour," spawned a concert film, which is nominated for Best Music Film. She is rivaled by newcomers Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran, whose albums "In the Lonely Hour" and "X", respectively, are competing for the title of Album of the year. Beyoncé is also set to perform "Take my Hand, Precious Lord," as an introduction to Common and John Legend's performance of "Glory" from the "Selma" soundtrack.

Check out the full list of nominees HERE and be sure to tune in the the 2015 Grammys on Sunday, February 8th.

My Experience with Career Day

Career Day was really fun! My favorite session that I attended was the software engineer who works at Google. He was an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, worked at NASA for seven years, got his Masters at Stanford, headed at few startups, and now he works at Google. He seems really chill because of the many perks that working at Google has, including getting free massages, free bus rides to work, and free food! He currently is part of the Google translate team, which is very useful and I use it all the time. He is my new role model.

Check out Google Translate!

If I were a Molecule, I would be Dihydrogen Monoxide

Water is such an amazing molecule. It has the ability to transform into many different objects. FOr example, I can be snow. Snow is soft. Also, I can be ice. Ice is slick and cold. Also, I can be a vapor. I can fly through the sky and not care about what others think of me. I love water, and this is why, I want to be a water molecule when I grow up.

If you also want to become a water molecule when you grow up, please, join us.
